Big Orange Heart has wrapped up the WordFest Live 2021 online event! It was 24-hours long with some pretty impressive numbers to show afterwards.

Keep reading to see the numbers!

WordFest Live Stats

  • 1 – idea
  • 4 – global regions
  • 8 – core team members
  • 12 – international sponsors
  • 22 – micro-sponsors
  • 34 – global volunteers
  • 48 – international speakers
  • 70 – sponsor sessions
  • 177 – charitable donors
  • 2,271 – registered attendees
  • $40,610 – funds raised

That’s pretty amazing in a world inundated with online events!

If you missed any of the sessions, just log back in (if you registered before the event ended) and all of the session recordings are available. As a matter of fact, they were available same day as the sessions, not sure we’ve ever seen that kind of turn around on session archives!

They had some pretty cool features to the event that made it stand out, such as recorded sessions followed by live Q&A’s with moderators. And they offered networking rooms you could hang out and meet new people or hang out with old acquaintances. Sponsors also had rooms you could pop in and they offered games and contests in some of them, so it gave a more interactive feel to the virtual booths.

So, even though at this point we are all ready to go back to live events, this virtual event did have a very engaged feel about it, which was a welcome relief in the new world of online conferences.

Looking to the Future

The Big Orange Heart Team is already thinking about the future and starting to plan a new event! They are looking for feedback, so if you did attend, pop over and fill out the feedback form here.
