new-layoutOver the last week we've been rolling out a new layout for all of our training classes.

Hopefully this will be a big improvement for our members, our guests and our staff. Here's a description of the new features ...

What's in the New Layout for Members?

For our members, the new class layout should be much useful. Let's take the example of our newly released Joomla 2.5 Template Design class.

Across the top of the class page there are easy links to the class content, description, exercise files, teacher information and requirements.

The new system also keeps track of the class content that you've viewed:

What's in the New Layout for Guests?

For our guests, there are now free samples of each class. When you visit a class page you'll see blue links. These sections of the class are free for anyone to view.

What's in the New Layout for OSTraining Staff?

Finally, for our staff ... the new layout greatly reduces the amount of time we need to set up a class. That's going to be useful because there are a lof of new classes about to launch. We hope to launch one Joomla class, one WordPress class and three Drupal classes in just the next week.
