Our Drupal Beginner Class is aimed at getting Drupal novices up to speed as quickly as possible. You will learn the important basics of Drupal and by the end of the day will be able to successfully build a small Drupal site. This class is an excellent introduction for Drupal beginners.

What Will You Learn in the Drupal Beginner Class?

You'll learn how to build a Drupal website, from content and user organization, to working with modules and themes. The class will focus on Drupal 7 but questions are welcome on other versions.

Pre-Requisites

There are no pre-requisites for the beginner class. We assume that all students in our beginner classes start with no Drupal experience.

Drupal powers some of the largest sites on the web and is being widely adopted by organizations from small businesses to the White House and leading U.S. government agencies and companies such as eBay, Sony and the New York Stock Exchange.

Our Drupal Intermediate Class is aimed at increasing the skills of people who will be building and maintaining Drupal sites. You will learn how to use three of the most important Drupal tools: Fields, Views and Panels.

Why Attend the Drupal Intermediate Class?

  • 1 The class is taught by an experienced Drupal instructor who will teach you the essentials of building more advanced sites through the use of Fields, Views and Panels.
  • 2 Our teaching style is entirely hands-on. You'll have a Drupal site in front of you and will be actively working and learning throughout the class.

Subjects Taught

Pre-Requisites

To get the most out of this class, you'll need a good basic knowledge of Drupal. Do you know how to create content and use roles? Do you know how to install themes and modules?

How long are the classes?

7 hours. We start at 9 am and finish at 4 pm. We provide lunch for students and regular breaks.

What do I need to bring?

Nothing. We provide computers, all training materials and lunch.

How many students are in the classes?

16 is the maximum. We aim to keep our classes as small, intimate and friendly as possible.
