WordPress 3.7 Video Introduction
WordPress 3.7 was released last week.
In this blog post we’ll give you a video introduction to what’s new in 3.7.
3.7 was a really quick release in preparation for 3.8, which is secheduled to arrive before the end of this year.
The most important new feature is auto-updates. With auto-updates, WordPress will automatically update itself whenever there is a new security release. The WordPress team are doing this to increase the security of WordPress and make sure that less sites are runnng out-of-date versions.
Why do you like automatic updates? What if the update causes an issue with a Plug-In?
Agree. Although there is an option to turn this feature off, i would prefer to get it disabled by default. BTW, why not a simple toggle button in backend?!

I feel the same. Still no answer from any client with wordpress 3.7.1 update but true if automatic update happen and if the site is broke we won’t know about it for days unless we keep on checking the site daily
I’d say that you need to be testing your site anyway.
We use Pingdown to automatically notify us if there’s anything wrong with your site.
Thanks for sharing pingdown…but i was saying about site being broken not being down..if updates happen silently and that site isn’t that important to be checked daily then you wouldn’t know until one fine day you visit it….
I’m using WordPress v3.8 . It improved admin page design with dark colors panel.
I think wordpress only improve functions and increase levels of security for it. No more
different between versions
