Custom Progress image for multipage gravity form

3 years 5 months ago #124324 by debhailey
I'm trying to make a multipage form. I have a different custom graphic to show the progress on each page, but the form uses the same page. Any way to use different pages for each section of the form, or any way to place my graphics in the form?

I will do the customizing of the form later.

Here are the urls so far. And I will attach the mock-ups of how I want the finished pages to look.

Hi debhailey,

If I follow you, you want this image to reflect the current step as the user navigate the pages?

If that is the case, may you tell me if the image is being added through a widget?

Kind regards,
Valentín

Yes, you are correct. Yes, the image has been added to the page through a widget.

Cool.

I assume each page has different URLs to reflect different steps, such as:
tfilter.jlaymansite.com/index.php/join-now-step-1/
tfilter.jlaymansite.com/index.php/join-now-step-2/

If that's correct, create 6 widgets, each one displaying each step's image:
tfilter.jlaymansite.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Step-1.png
tfilter.jlaymansite.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Step-2.png

With this plugin enable each widget based on the URL.
See "Display a widget on specific URLs" example.

Ok, I tried this, but have run into a problem.

With my limited understanding, let me try to explain.

The multipage gravity form basically runs from one page, much like a blog works.

If each section of the form launched from different pages it would be no problem to put my graphics on one side of each page and the form on the opposite side.

So my problem with this plugin is that I am not sure it will allow me to assign a different graphic to each gravity form "child" page. See screen shot below.

My end goal is to have multiple pages work as one form. Is there a better way to accomplish this?

Hi debhailey,

May I have access to take a look? Please email us to support@ostraining.com - include the url of this forum topic in the message, then reply here

Also, what are the URLs of the 6 steps?

Kind regards,
Valentín
