Site Migration

3 years 10 months ago #122061 by rickpaul
Site Migration was created by rickpaul
I will be moving a WP site from my development server to the customer's domain. Since WP doesn't support relative paths in links, one of the issues I anticipate is how to resolve the full-path URLs that point to pages on the dev site.

The WP Settings > General > Site Address (URL) / WordPress Address (URL) seem to suggest that I could use my dev site address as the WordPress Address and the customer's domain as the Site Address (URL) .

Is my assumption correct? Is there a better way?

Thanks!
