CSS Responsive Course Target the old Bootstrap 2

3 years 8 months ago - 3 years 8 months ago #120256 by brunoalec
Hi, I began to study the Introduction to Responsive Design Course, and it is target to the Bootstrap2, right now the Bootstrap 3 was already released. Do you have any plans to update this course?
I think this is a important topic, and understand Responsive Design was one of the more important reason to me subscribe to your training program.

While you dont update it, can you help me to find the BS2 Files, so I can keep study and follow the course program with the same files?

Ops: I Guess I posted it in the wrong forum section, sorry!

With Best Regards

Hi and welcome to OSTraining Bruno,
Yes, Bootstrap 3 is on the radar.

Bootstrap 2 can be download through this page: getbootstrap.com/2.3.2/

Let us know if we can help you in something else :)

Kind regards,
Valentín

Hi Valentin,
I went to provided link and download the BS 2.3.2, but something strange happening with that file, because when I tried to browse the DOCs directory, like I saw in the video: "Download and Install Bootstrap" at minute 2:40.
I went to DOCs folder and opened the index.html but the page loads completely without any css, so when I checked the Source code of this file. It has no Doctype, and Header Tag. Something wrong with the download file.

In the video training, the teacher use a different BS version 2.0.4 and now I am not sure if the provide link will be the right one. Can you help me to check if the download file will fit the training requirements?

Ad if the provide link fits, why here the page is missing all CSS?

With Best Regards

Hi Bruno,

I downloaded 2.3.2 from Github repository and works fine in my end.
I opened the docs/index.html file with Firefox - the CSS loads fine.

Kind regards,
Valentín
