Hello

Because there are different ways of achieving the same result, I am wondering about SEO. I want to get myself thinking the right way.

If I want to show information,
would it be preferable to have all the content stuffed into one Article/Item, or split the content up:

One Article:
Dinosaurs lived a long time ago blah blah blah.
There were many different species:
Triceratops, this was a three horned dude, very much like a Rhinoceros blah blah blah.

Brontosaurus: A huge animal with a looonnnnng neck blah blah blah.

Doyouthinkhesawus: Didn't exist but I bet you've heard of it blah blah blah

OR......

Article 1:
Dinosaurs lived a long time ago blah blah blah.
There were many different species:

Article 2:
Triceratops, this was a three horned dude, very much like a Rhinoceros blah blah blah.

Article 3:
Brontosaurus: A huge animal with a looonnnnng neck blah blah blah.

Article 4:
Doyouthinkhesawus: Didn't exist but I bet you've heard of it blah blah blah

...I can imagine that there are benefits to both methods.

Thanks

Hi Bucklash,

Probably the second method, but it depends on the content :) Will article 2, 3, and 4 have enough to be their own article? If so, go with that method. As a general rule, do what's best for your readers and you'll have the content structured well for search engines optimization too.

Hope this helps!

Kind regards,
Nick
