TOPIC: How do I use nested link list in a block

How do I use nested link list in a block 4 years 7 months ago #39778

Hello all,
How do I make the following happen in a Link block assigned to by sidebar first.

What it looks like now;

* Products
* XpandCDH
* XpandPBM
* XpandHCR

What I want is:

Products
* XpandCDH
* XpandPBM
* XpandHCR

All are links I just what to show that the three Xpand products are children of the Producst page.

Hope someone has done this before. I know I can do it with html code. But, I would rather do it within drupal or maybe a CSS style.

Thanks

Bill

Hi William

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand that question. The way it was posted, the first example looks the same as the second.

1) Do you have a link to the site so I can see the block?
2) How is the block being created at the moment? Is it just text and code or are you using a View?

Hi Steve,

Thanks yea there is a very small difference. I am trying to indent the bottom links without having to write the code to do it.

Here is the site acerohealth

Thanks for taking the time

Hi William

Am I right in thinking that you're using a Drupal menu for this rather than just plan HTML?

If so, here's what you need to do to start: www.ostraining.com/blog/drupal/dropdown-menus/

Go to Structure > Menus and make sure that your menu links are indented.

If that is done and it's still not working, we'll need to work out some CSS with you.

Hi Steve,

Was in Mexico for a couple of days. Thanks a lot for looking at my problem. I checked out the Menus and they are all indented. I am sure it is the css I am using. If you have some examples of css that will do the indentation that would be great.

Again thanks for all your help

Bill

Hi Bill

One way to approach this is by using this module: drupal.org/project/menu_attributes

Using that module allows you to directly apply CSS classes to the menu items.

You can create a CSS class that provides a 10px left margin and then add it to your menu items.
