robots.txt was created by mlehr
Hai,

Ofcourse my website has a robots.txt file. Now I want to add a comlete directory (/test),because that is my test website.
1. Is the correct syntax:
User-agent: *
Disallow: /test
2.Where can I usually find this file? Or can I change it directly in Joomla?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Maurice!

1. Yes, is correct, just add "/" at the end, please:

Disallow: /test/

That will denied access from search engines to index that directories

2. This file is located in root Joomla installation, you can edit directly to add your customizations.

Hopes this helps

Kind regards,
Valentín
