Redirect issue

Redirect issue was created by savethefrogs
Hi,

I set up a redirect using SEFAdvance:

Source URL:
arizona-wetlands-1

Target URL:
countries/usa/arizona/arizona-wetlands-endangered-species-1/

I expected that to enable me to use
www.savethefrogs2.com/arizona-wetlands-1 to be a clean re-direct to
this page:

www.savethefrogs2.com/countries/usa/ariz...ndangered-species-1/

But instead, www.savethefrogs2.com/arizona-wetlands-1 redirects to the
homepage.

I emailed Emir from SEFAdvance for help.
He said:

"I tested and it seems like the request is not even reaching the PHP. It's directed to root on server level.
I don't know if it's your Apache settings or .htaccess rules but I can just say it's not SEF Advance fault."

Thoughts?
Thank you!
Kerry

Hi Kerry,

We've had issues getting SEFAdvance's redirects to work as well, so we just redirect everything via htaccess instead, e.g.:
Redirect 301 /courses/ https://www.ostraining.com/classes/

Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any questions and we'll be glad to answer.

Kind regards,
Nick
