Changing a background color

Changing a background color was created by paulbe
I need to change the background color or add a image as a background. The template that I am using doesn't have an option under Extensions >> Template >> Styles. Can you provide directions or a video that explained how to do this? I've updated the general.css file but did not have any luck. The url is Donald L Walker .

Thanks,

Hi Paul,

Which element you want to change the background? Perhaps, the full body?

We have a tutorial that will help you target the elements by finding the selector , in order to add custom CSS to change colors, backgrounds, etc.
In your case, you would need something similar to:
.your-selector {
    background: #your-color;
}
Of course, replacing with real values from your site based on the tutorial above.

If you're new to adding custom CSS, this post will help

Kind regards,
Valentín
