This may not be part of your job but do we need to have https: on our 4 websites? We are about to start selling accessories on one site for the first time ever and this thought has entered my mind. The other 3 sites do not sell anything but we do have a contact me page for a prospect to fill out and get more information. Just wondering if this has anything to do with Joomla.

Thanks.

Hi Maxx,

I highly recommend to setup for the sites that requires your users to login. Having an SSL certificate will protect your user's data.

Adding https:// to a site is not exclusive to Joomla, any website can have it. Keep in touch with your hosting provider to know how they would enable this feature.

Kind regards,
Valentín

Just got the below email from yootheme. I attached the list of our templates. I am confuses as to what template we are using. I approached yootheme to see about paying for support and getting some questions answered, etc. but apparently we don't use their template. Can you tell whose template we are using?

Thanks,
Maxx

Hello Maxx,

thank you for your mail!

the current default template you are using is not a template made by us. Only the two templates 'yoo_nano2' and 'yoo_tasty' are YOOtheme templates.
So i can not give you advice how you can add custom code to your template.

I can only say that in our templates there is a field in the template administration where you can add custom scripts to the page.

Best regards,
Hendrik

Hi Maxx,

The SSL certificate (https) is not related to the template you're using. To setup that feature, you need to contact to your hosting provider.

To know how to add custom CSS to a Joomla template, we have a tutorial that would be helpful.

Kind regards,
Valentín
