I have been following the steps to upgrade a Joomla 1.5 site to Joomla 3. During the process, I created a new SQL database as instructed. I did not complete the upgrade due to an error in the process while using the Red Migrator tool, and now I cannot connect to the front or backend of the site.
I started by doing both a backup through the Cpanel and an Akeeba backup, but since I can't get into the back end, I can't use the Akeeba backup.
Do I attempt to reinstall the backup through the Cpanel, or is there a way to reconnect the database?
