User menu question

6 years 3 weeks ago #117297 by aaronp
User menu question was created by aaronp
I've been trying to figure this out for days

How can I edit the menu that appears on user pages (i.e. website.com/user/name)?

In my head it should be just another menu under /admin/structure/menu
...but it's not there. I want to be able to add a couple menu items and adjust the layout etc.

This is on drupal 7.39

Hi and welcome, aaronp. We're glad to have you with us.

No, those aren't menus in the way the Drupal uses "menus". Those are tabs created by Drupal's code. Each module has the opportunity to use "hooks" in the code to add or remove these tabs.

Tab Tamer is a module that may help you do this easily: www.drupal.org/project/tabtamer
