Am I Too Old to Learn WordPress?

It keeps surprising me whenever I hear this question by a potential customer.

Am I too old to learn WordPress?

Too old? You're never too old. If others can do it, you can do it too.

If Grandma Moses started painting at 78 years young, why can't you? Don't sell yourself short. You can definitely learn WordPress.

Not only can you definitely learn WordPress, but many have gone before you to do just that. At OSTraining, we've had students in their 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s.

For some of our students, it started as a hobby and turned it into a new professional career. There's a certain joy in learning something new and being able to help others with that talent. And that joy knows no time constraints.

Getting started with WordPress

    1. Set aside 60 minutes
    2. Go to our WordPress Beginner class
    3. Sit back and watch the free videos (most of the class)

You'll find it's easy to learn WordPress with our training.

Once you have that confidence, sign up for our 2-day free trial for one of our membership plans. Go through the WordPress Beginner class again. But, this time follow along with the instructor in your test site.

The total class time is only two hours. With the test site, you'll spend about four hours.

Once you've finished, you'll know the basics of WordPress. You'll be able to create your own sites, albeit not advanced sites. But, and it's an important but. You would have just proven to yourself that you can learn WordPress.

From there, continue in our WordPress pathway and learn the more advanced parts. The pathway is systematic and the classes build on each other.

What you'll find is that after a month of putting in 15-60 minutes a day, you'll feel like you can do this as a career.

Every journey starts with a first step. Start yours today.
