How to Highlight the differences between two images with Zurb Twenty Twenty Module

Zurb TwentyTwenty module is mostly intended to highlight the difference between two images on a Drupal site.

One example use case is advertising images for skin products. Those images present half of the face before applying the product and half of the face after applying it.

How to Connect to Web Server Over SSH with Private/Public Keys Using PuTTY on Windows

Knowing how to connect to your website over SSH authenticating with Public/Private Key pairing is a great skill. Authenticating and working on your website over SSH is more secure since your connection is encrypted.

Also, with SSH you will be able to perform some cool tasks not available to you over a graphical interface. And you will do them much faster.

That's why some content management systems offer command line interface to their users. Like, for example, WP-CLI for WordPress or Drush for Drupal.

Using the Focal Point Module for Images in Drupal 8

You most likely created image styles with Drupal's "Scale and crop" image effect. This style allows you to display large images on a smaller scale and save precious screen space.

There is one issue with such styling though. Often the most interesting point of the image gets chopped off. The "Focal Point" contrib module helps avoid this issue.

Import data from a CSV file into Drupal 8 with the Content Import module

Sometimes you would like to import a huge volume of data from a CSV file into Drupal. Maybe from another CMS. Maybe from a spreadsheet. There is no such UI-oriented functionality in the Drupal 8 core. 

To import your data from a CSV file, you need to install and enable the Content Import module. In this tutorial, we'll walk you through the process of importing data with Content Import.

If you've been to a WordCamp over the last few years, there's a good chance you've met Mendel Kurland. Mendel works for GoDaddy where he's played a central role in improving that company's reputation.

In this episode, Mendel tells his story: a journey from early start-up success in Iowa to a key role inside GoDaddy. Mendel is also starting a new project called Camp Press which encourages tech workers to get switch off and get outdoors.
