Hey everyone,

sorry to be the annoying one again but there is another flaw in the newest training. I tried to locate the startbox child theme everywhere as I think it's essential to follow through with the training, however there simply is NO child theme? What's that? I thought for new training they should be very close to the resources you can donwload and now there is another major difference....

This starts to make me angry, because currently I couldn't finalize one training until the end because of the flaws, errors and mistakes in them.

Please advise. Thanks!

EDIT: I also looked into the intermediate course and found out that you show there how to create a child theme. However, this is SIMPLY NOT THERE! the current download of startbox from GitHub does not provide the child theme files (functions.php, styles.css etc.) you show in the videos. This really decreases the value of the otherwise great trainings provided.

Where is the "exercise tab"? I don't see this anywhere and would also like to download the startbox-child theme zip file to follow along with the video.

Thank you Nick,
I did finally find the tab, but the Startbox-child file that downloaded was not correct. After downloading & installing, the only thing I got was an message saying "cheating are you", and when trying to return to my dashboard there were several file error messages. I had to removed the startbox-child file to get back to my dashboard.
This file is also first referenced in the Intermediate classes, not the Theme classes.

I do have the start-box parent theme installed - did that first.

Ok - downloaded the start-box child zip, installed - and using preview instead of activate, I am still getting the same error message. (Actual text is "Cheatin' uh?")
A screen shot is attached.

Since I am running this via a WAMP server I can't send you any login credentials.

That is very strange indeed. Looks like a lot of people are having the same issue:

What PHP version does your WAMP have running?

Also, are you sure your user has full permissions?
