Hi,

I've noticed that many sites that are still being developed have a landing page that that sais the site is still under construction. It is not possible to enter or see the site, but instead you just get the landing page.

I would like to create the same thing for my sites, so that visitors are just taken to this landing page & cannnot enter the site. However, I would like to still be able to view the site myself, the frontend & backend. Is that possible?

Give any of the following three plugins a try:

1) Maintenance Mode:
wordpress.org/extend/plugins/maintenance-mode/
2) Bee Offline:
wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bee-offline/
3) Site Offline or Coming Soon
wordpress.org/extend/plugins/site-is-offline-plugin/
