Is it possible to order the posts regardless of sticky status? So latest post appear at the top in chronological order rather than sticky/featured posts at the top?

Thanks

Yikes, sorry Shavindra. That's what I get for waking at 5 to get started. Oddly, the answer does apply somewhat because there is a Views for WordPress (although it's commercial): wp-types.com/home/views-create-elegant-d...ys-for-your-content/

The sticky feature is probably a part of your theme. What theme are you using?

It happens :)...

I am using TwentyEleven...

It's resolved.. Seems WP updated reference codex.wordpress.org/Sticky_Posts
ignore_sticky_posts=1

so it's
query_posts( 'ignore_sticky_posts=1&posts_per_page=3&cat=6' );

Yes, that's right.

As you're using a core theme, I'd highly recommend using this plugin to make a child theme: www.ostraining.com/blog/wordpress/ne-click-child-theme/

Otherwise your changes will be lost.
