Hi, I installed a plugin called cforms. Now whenever someone completes the form the following 2 errors come up:

Deprecated: Function eregi() is deprecated in /home/peaceful/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cforms/lib_validate.php on line 336

Deprecated: Function split() is deprecated in /home/peaceful/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cforms/lib_email.php on line 414

I don't really know what a Deprecated: Function error is? I tried to post on the cforms forum but have gotten no response. Is it better just to use a different form plugin or is this an easy fix?

Wordpress 3.3.1

Thanks
teresa

Hi Teresa,

What PHP version is your server running on? I'm guessing your server is running PHP 5.3 and that the forms plugin was created for PHP 5.2. If that's the case, the developer would need to provide an updated version. Did you recently install this forms plugin? If not, please check to see if they have an updated version.

Kind regards,
Nick
