I did install. My concern right now is automatically asks for Explorer. Currently, I am using Chrome for most of my browsing needs. Should I select default?
By default, each Internet browser will try and make itself your default browser. It’s just their way of trying to make sure you use them; but this can be quite annoying, just like someone who keeps ringing your doorbell and then running off. Here’s what you can do to make the reminders go away. Start IE and refuse the offer for it to become your default browser. Click on the Tools button and choose Internet Options. Click on the Programs tab and then click on the check box labelled: “Tell me if Internet Explorer is not the default browser” so that the tick disappears. Click OK to save your options.
I uploaded file. My localhost is not working and neither 127.0.0.1.
Could you go to WAMP dock icon -> Apache -> Service -> Test Port 80
And tell me what it says?
I tried to send .docx file; it was giving me warning. I zipped it.
I modified httpd.conf file from Apache menu. I changed 3 locations from port 80 to port 8080. After that in the browser windows, I selected localhost:8080. It seems working. Let me know if you see any issue with this solution.
Thank you, Leon.

During the installation of WAMP - getting the following error MSVCR100.dll was not found. 11 months 3 weeks ago #47808
You are able to connect to localhost using a different port because it is certain now that your port 80 was being used by another program. You could go around this by exiting that program, turning on Apache, then starting your other program again.
But your method will work too, but you would have to go to localhost:8080 each time.
Try to see if you can go to http://127.0.0.1 without having to type 8080?
