I have posted this on the WP Forum with not much luck.
I'm in the process of creating menus. While in Admin Appearance>Menus I go to "Pages", "View All" so that I can select the pages I need for my menu. While in "View All", all (284 pages) are a jumbled mess. Pages are partially alphabetized, partially showing "parent" and "child" groups. I was told to check the "Order" number on all of my Pages. They are all set to "0" (default) which I thought should alphabetize my pages. While working in Pages, such as adding, editing, etc, and looking under "Page Attributes", "Parent" dropdown list; I can see the parent child structure and everything is in order. I have deactivated my plugins but things remain the same.
It's difficult to find the pages I need for my menus when I have to scroll through 284 unordered, non-alphabetized pages. Help!
