Hi Tom,

It's hard to beat Google Adsense :)
www.google.com/adsense

There are a lot of great Wordpress plugins for Adsense as well. For example,
wordpress.org/extend/plugins/adsense-plugin/

I hope this helps!

Kind regards,
Nick

I am using adsense for part of the site, but I want to deliver ads that I am selling to clients and manage delivery to the spaces I assign on the sites.

Thank you,

Tom

Hi Tom,

Do you mean deliver ads that you are selling for (rather than "to") your clients?

Just checking so that I can give an informed answer.

Hi Tom,

OK, in that case, there's not that many plugins around, unfortunately. However, here are 6 good ones to look at:

1) Orbit Open Ad Server:
orbitopenadserver.com/how-it-works/for-joomla.html

2) Ad Manager:
wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ad-manager-for-wp/

3) Komoona Ads:
wordpress.org/extend/plugins/komoona/

4) AdRotate:
wordpress.org/extend/plugins/adrotate/

5) OIOPublisher:
www.oiopublisher.com/

6) Advertisement Management:
wordpress.org/extend/plugins/advertisement-management/

I hope this helps!

Kind regards,
Nick

I want one central location in which to serve up ads and manage ads to several news sites. I was doing this with open x, but it started not working correctly. I would also like to track clicks on the ads and impressions.

Does this help, I am kind of tired long night trying to get things to work.

Thank you,

Tom

or, does this help: do these run ads on other sites too? As in we can install the plugin once and manage all sites/campaigns?

Hi Tom,

Yes, those explanations help. Thanks!

In answer to your question, no, sorry, the plugins do not track multiple sites. They can work on multiple sites, but only independently and there is no integration.

Have you looked at Google Ads Manager? Steve mentions it in this thread. It is a competitor of Open X.
www.ostraining.com/support-forum/joomla-...t/openx-alternative/

Also another alternative is
adzerk.com

That's all I know about. To my knowledge there is nothing specifically set to work with WordPress across multiple sites. You might ask that question on the wordpress forum Multi Site Forum. wordpress.org/support/forum/multisite

It's not something I ever use, so it's hard to give advice on it. Maybe this will lead you in the right direction.

Cheers,
Ed

Hi Tom,

Two other ones are:

1) traffic spaces:
www.trafficspaces.com

2) Bitt Ads:
www.bittads.com

We hope that one of these four alternatives works well for you! :)

Kind regards,
Nick
