Steve,
Thanks for asking. btw, I recommend the Step by Step book to new backend users.
As a way to both help others & ride the Joomla! learning curve, I have volunteered to help some churches in the area update their static websites. I promote an organizational structure that lets non-tech congregation members add to the site via the front-end and importantly spreads the responsibility for updating to individuals that are passionate about a particular area of ministry at their church.
I do a web writing session for the soon to be authors, editors & publishers and a session on front end access. As a way to give them access to a refresher without needing to contact me, I made a few screen capture videos. It's probably easier to show you what I'm interested in for them... take a look:
gregoryproservices.com/index.php/training-videos Were these for paying customers or if I had the time, I'd try to make them more polished. This is a different area than you have addressed, but might take little time to do a short series for front end users that your members work with.
Thanks,
Jim
