Hi All,

I was replacing the old file with new file in the dowloads archive in zoo component in the backend and it works perfectly but the old file was still in the same folder in the FTP. But i want the old file to be in the separate folder once its replaces with new one. Is this possible?

Can anyone please guide me with this?

Thanks in advance,

Cheers

Hi Uma,

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Just moving the old file in FTP and putting the new one there?

Why can't you drag your old directory on desktop, delete it from FTP, create a new location for it by dragging it back into it. Then do the same for the new directory?

Or are you trying to do something different? :-)
Warm Regards,

Tessa Mero

Hi Tessa,
No it's something different. I have uploaded a document long time before and i have attached picture 1. Now i am uploading another new document (picture 2) in that it replaces the old file automatically. But i want the old file to be in different folder.

I think now it should be clear to you.

Thank you,
Cheers

Hi Uma,

Unfortunately, Zoo doesn't have that feature. You would manually have to move the old file to the location that'd you'd like.

Kind regards,
Nick

Hi Nick,
Thanks for your Response
While uploading the file in zoo dowloads it comes from FTP is there any component that put the old file in separate folder and update the version control. From that component i can add file to zoo component.

Is that possible?

Thank in advance

Hi Uma,

You're welcome!

Can we take a step back? What are you ultimately trying to accomplish? Why separate the old ones into different folders?

Kind regards,
Nick
