I am looking for a wireless internet camera to purchase for my rental property website. I would like to have visitors control the webcam if possible. Does anyone have experience with webcam control and Joomla 2.5? The camera will be approximately 50 feet from the router.

Hi Jim,

We can't help you with the hardware (other than suggesting to use Amazon.com to find different webcams), but for the software www.ustream.tv/ is a great service for streaming video. It won't allow the users to control the webcam, but it does a great job streaming videos at a low cost. You can easily integrate it with Joomla 2.5 by using UStream's embed code.
