Hi:

Where would you go or might I go to locate the contact us page content on my joomla site to update some copy. Went to the "article page" for the contact us and this is the only thing it says...

{jumi [contact_us.php]}

Thanks in advance.

Margaret

Hello Margaret,

Here are some troubleshooting things to try:

1. Check if your plugin is installed.

2. Check if your plugin is enabled.

3. Check if the jumi syntax is in an article and not in the category/section description.

4. Check if the code is visible.
Verify the plugin syntax {jumi [templates/iwc/events_alumni.php] } in no wysiwyg editor. Remove all unvisible characters from the syntax, if there are any.
Sometimes it helps, if you have more 3rd party plugins installed, if you move jumi plugin up in the list of installed plugins (plugin manager).

Also,

Go to your plugin list and find your Jumi plugin.

On your plugin edit screen from the top left, you will see labels in the order as below :

Name:
Enabled:
Type:
Plugin File: ( make sure the word entered in this field is jumi )
(there is no need to enter the .php extension as you will see it's already labeled on the right of the field.)
Warm Regards,

Tessa Mero

Hi Margaret,

Check out the following documentation for Jumi:
2glux.com/projects/jumi/usage-for-j15

Your contact us form is actually a custom PHP contact form that Jumi is bringing into Joomla. So to find the actual code, you'd have to find the file "contact_us.php" on your server, which will most likely be in your Joomla installation root.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Kind regards,
Nick

Ok Nick.
I tried everything on Tessa's list and was about to ask for more help.

A related question for you --

I think we ended up with jumi due two chronoforms version of page wasn't working with salesforce and site pal.

You have a lot of experience, what is latest with joomla contact page working with salesforce and a flash movie. Anything?

Thanks
Margaret

Hi Margaret,

I'm not sure I understand your question. Can you elaborate?

Also in the meantime, check out these extensions and see if they relate to what you are trying to do. extensions.joomla.org/search?q=salesforce

Let us know.
