I uploaded Akeeba Backup to my joomla 2.5 site. When I go to Extension Manager and Manage I can see that it uploaded and is on the site. However, I can't find where it is so I can make a backup.

Where do I find Akeeba? I am obviously missing something here. And I thought I've been doing so well.

Go to:
1) Admin area
2) Component (top menu)
3) Akeeba Backup (sub menu)

It should be there.

Okay. It wasn't there. I must have downloaded the wrong thing. I uninstalled it, found the Akeeba Backup Core files and then installed that. Now it is where it is supposed to be.

Ahhh! Time to step away from the computer for a bit.
