Hi
I am just wondering if anybody else is having this particular problem?
After upgrading to 2.56 everything appears to be fine but if you now go to user manager and click on the Super User details then if you click on any of the menu items (Save - Save & Close - Cancel etc) you then get a white page with this text.
403 - An error has occurred.

Access Denied

Return to Control Panel

You can add and enter any user details OK but if you try to enter another super user the above result occurs.
I also found the same problem when making a new clean install early in the week - I only discovered it after trying to set the default editor as JCE for the Super User.
I have been through the usual clear and purge cache etc but have not found a solution.
Regards

Mark

Solution found!! I upgraded to Admin Tools Pro a few weeks ago - after using their wonderful products for a couple of years I decided that they deserved some money.
The solution is - you can go to - admin tools / web firewall application / configure WAF / Basic security / Disable editing backend users' properties , set to No.

All's well that ends well

Nice job, Mark! That's good to know as I wouldn't have thought to look at Admin Tools Pro's settings for this particular issue.

Did the new site have Admin Tools Pro installed as well?

Kind regards,
Nick

Hi Nick
Yes it did. I always install JCE followed by Akeeba tools and Backup.
Cheers
