TOPIC: Updating Components, Modules, & Plugins in 1.5

scottshort OFFLINE OSTycoon Posts: 234 Karma: 0	Hi I am try to secure my 1.5 site by up dating all my components, etc. In 1.5 am I able to just install the new versions over the old to update?, or do they all have different instructions on how to update? Are these instructions easy to find in logical place or do I need to hunt to find the instructions? Thanks Scott

You'd have to consult with the extension developer's documentation and upgrade instructions for each. A easy/quick way to find the documentation is to Google the extension, then click on its listing on the JED, then click on the documentation button. Hope this helps! Kind regards, Nick
