I just updated a site which looks normal on the front end, but in the back end some of the menus don't display how I'd expect and I can't access the users....get this message:
500 - An error has occurred.
Table 'xxxxx --.user_notes' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT n.user_id, COUNT(n.id) As note_count FROM -- user_notes AS n WHERE n.user_id IN (51,48,66,69,45,55,44,56,47,63,71,57,50,60,65,52,72,43,46,54) AND n.state >= 0 GROUP BY n.user_id

Can you suggest a fix or do I just upload joomla again and rebuild as it's a small site. Thanks!

Hi Jnut,

Try this:

Go to Extensions > Extension Manager > Database > And click "Fix".

Let me know if that works.
Warm Regards,

Hi jnut,

Also, you can go to your menu, select your broken menu items, then click the "Fix" button (top right).

Kind regards,
Nick

Thanks for the suggestions. Tessa, the database fix allows me access to the user's area in the back end but although I can disable a user I can't delete one (I'm signed in as administrator/superuser).

The front end menus are all functioning as normal, Nick, so I'm not sure how I'd make use of your suggestion.

Any further ideas before I just start over?

Hi
I bet that you have already done this - clear and purge cache plus clear browser.
Regards
Mark
