I cannot get the any of your training videos to play on my laptop. The title of the video displays after I click on a tutorial link but the video will not start. Videos in general play OK as those in Youtube.

However,the training videos will play on my PC. Any suggestions?

2) Could you upload a screenshot of what you're using?
3) What type of laptop is it?

I am using an Acer laptop. I have viewed OST course videos on this laptop for over six months with no problems. Now when I click on a link for any video whether it is a Joomla or Drupal, etc. video, I see the title of that video (eg.,"Navigating the Administrator Site") and then nothing further happens. The video does not start. Help!!

Hi Tessa, I just checked the problem using IE and the videos were fine. I have been using Chrome for quite a while now without problems. Could there be some switch in Chrome that blocks the OST videos? I know I can play Youtube videos using Chrome without any problems.

Hi Dapster, I just tested with Chrome and it works fine on my end. Have you tried testing this on another computer?

Yes. The OS Training videos run fine on my PC using the Chrome browser or the IE Browser. Curiouser and curiouser!

What version of Chrome are you using on the computer that the videos aren't playing in?

Do you have anything in your browser Settings that could be blocking anything?

I have the same version of Google on both computers --- 18.0. However, I am not sure what browser Settings I should be checking to see if they are the problem.

Dapster, is your laptop a pc or Mac?

I'm running chrome 18.0 on both my laptops and the videos are running fine.

I think it might be a setting on your laptop. I'm still looking into this.

Our apologies. We use the same video provider as the New York Times, Sky, Fox, the Weather Channel and more so the video quality is as good as it can get. However, online video sometimes suffers from regional or even very local glitches.

Would you please try refreshing the pages a few times? If that doesn't work, would you mind doing this for 60 seconds so we can test your connection?

1. Navigate to our Brightcove Debugger located here:
admin.brightcove.com/viewer/BrightcoveDebugger.html
2. Change Level to 'Debug' and Type to Media'.
3. Open the page where the video is located in a new window or tab and play the video.
4. Allow it to run for 60 seconds and copy and send me the output in the Debugger window.

Let us know if the problem persists.
