Hello everybody,

as in the tutorial my html file is fine.
After I've done the transfer of the .zip file template with the index.php file, the footer doesn't show up :-(
Any idea?

Thanks for the answer.

Thierry

Hi jetsurfer,

Do you have a link to this site?

Did you remember to create a position for footer in XML?

Warm Regards,

Hi Tessa,

thanks for your answer.
I follow this tutorial locally on my computer for the moment.
The footer position is included into the xml file.

But here are the files, the html one without problem and a zip with all the template file, maybe someone'll find a solution.

Hi Jetsurfer,

I just installed your template on one of my sites.

Your footer is showing at the bottom of the page, and I am able to create a module position in that spot. It also shows in ?tp=1 as well.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something? :-)

Please give me an update and be clear to exactly what the issue is, including screenshots from your end.

Thank you. :-)
Warm Regards,

Hello Tessa,

thanks for your answer.

Sorry I didn't make a test online, just locally.
Online the footer is there :-)

Locally not ( after the installation of the zip file template ) :-(

Ok, never mind, I continue the tutorial and at the top the text : www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="fr-fr" lang="fr-fr" > it is due to I use a french version but I'm gonna fix that later.

Thanks again for your answer.

Hi Thierry,

You are welcome. :-)

I'm glad you got things figured out. Sometimes a flaw in the header could turn your entire site into a chaotic mess.

:-D
