I'm having trouble with one module position in my template! It's the Vintage template from JoomlaShack that I modified for Joomla 2.5 - you can see the problem at:

killearnlakesrealty.com/

Towards the bottom, there is a module sticking out past the right side and I can't seem to get it to go back to the left where it belongs!

Thanks so much for any help!

The width for the showcase module is set too wide.

Cheers,

Thanks for the response, Ed - but I've set it as low as 200 px just to test and it still won't shift to the left where it belongs!

Hi Jackibar,

Look at this part of your template_css.css file:

#mainbody .main-both {
// etc etc etc
margin: 0 250px 0 258px;
}

You have margins set for your main area which is pushing your module out far to the right. You'd have to do a margin override to fix this, unless someone suggests a "healthier way". =)

Thanks for the response, Tessa! That wasn't it, though(!) - because the module right under the problem module is also inside that margin setting and it's working fine...

HOWEVER! I found it!! I had missed closing a div in my index.php file :)

Hi Jacki,

I'm glad you found a solution. I'm not quite a CSS expert, but working on it! :-)

Next time we will both remember to check for closing div tags rather than looking through CSS code. haha. :-)
