Hi,

I just migrated from 1.5 to 2.5. Now some of my articles show the componentheading and some do not. How can I hide the component heading?

Can you give us a link to an example of what you mean by component heading? That would be a big help.

Thanks
Ed

Hi Ed,

I work locally now, so a link is difficult I guess. That is why I made a screenshot of the page including firebug. As you can see, there are two headings now. And I want to remove the upper one.

Hi Maurice,

Go to your menu item and try setting either "Show Page Heading" to "No" or "Show Title" to "Hide".

Kind regards,
Nick

Hi Nick,

I thought is was all solved, but I still found some pages with an extra componentheading that won't go away using your suggestions.
An example is:
http://www.sitesuccess.nl/test/content?id=34
. All the way at the top you see 'Artikelen'. I do not have any idea whre this comes from.
Do you have a suggestion?

Regards, Maurice

Hi Maurice,

That's part of a little bug that's explained in the following article:
www.cmsmind.com/joomla-remove-h1-tag-articles/

Would you mind reporting it to the Joomla Bug Squad using the following method?
docs.joomla.org/Filing_bugs_and_issues#Reporting_bugs

Once you're done, provide the link to the bug report, then I'll mark it as confirmed and provide a patch for it :)

Kind regards,
Nick

Hi Nick,

I've tried to report the bug, but honostly, it costs me too much time to figger the whole system out. I can do that some time next week. Is there no easier way for now to fix my bug? Eg that you provide me the patch already now?

Regards, Maurice
