Do you know of any extensions...or any way already built into Joomla... that allows us to create a password that a user can login with...only once. So, basically, we can set a expiration to the password...either by # of times used...or # of days, etc...

I don't think so. The username/password (with expiration) will be needed to login to an area that will have music downloads (mp3s) for the user to download. But we only want them to be able to login one time...so that they can't pass the username/password on to someone else to login and download them, etc...

Hi Anita, I understand what you are asking.

You could make changes in the user module so it will invalidate the user account after a set amount of time. That might be your best bet.

Other than that, I haven't heard of an actual extension that does this. Maybe someone else has? :-)

It's free and the learning curve isn't too steep. It'll allow you to expire a subscription after a set period of time, not number of uses.
