Page by Page Templates 1 year 1 day ago #46871

Hello there,

SO, I want to implement different templates for various pages on my site. I know the basics of how to do that, thanks to the excellent tutorial but I'm having a problem getting some of the menu items have on the main templates (ie: homepage) on these other pages that I've put different templates into use.

For example, The top Menu (position 1) and the Main Menu items (right position) won't place in the pages with a different template than my main template. I've tried edits to the modules but so far...no luck.

Any ideas???

Thank you!

Hi FreeFormVentures,

Could we get a link to the respective pages to take a quick look?

Have you tried assigning those modules to the respective menu items? If so, what Joomla version are you using?

Kind regards,
Nick

Hey Nick,

I was just going to post that I had figured it out when I saw your reply. I did exactly what you asked in your post. In this case because the template layout was different I had to create a duplicate module and assign it a different position.

I try to wait until I'm at my wits end to post a question because I know it's something simple and I'm just not seeing it. Then I post it and voila! I figure it out. haha!

Also, to answer your other question I'm using Joomla 2.5 version.

--Thanks Nick.
