No module position name appears only the message [object Arguments]. 11 months 2 weeks ago #48600

Hello,

I am trying to locate the current module positions for my Joomla 2.5 site (www.ghanaoracle.com/test). I have selected Template Manager Options and enabled Preview Module positions. Yet, when I select my template and click on preview, no module position name appears, I only get the message "Object Arguments".

Can you explain how I can see my module positions?

Thanks.

Joyce

Hi Joyce,

What specific version of Joomla 2.5 are you using? 2.5.what?

Kind regards,
Nick

Hi Joyce,

Looks like the issue is with your JoomlArt template. Try switching to one of the default templates and see if it's still a issue.

Kind regards,
Nick

Hi Nick,

Yes, I was able to see the module positions for the Beez_20 template.

So how do I resolve this issue with JA Teline IV?

Hi Joyce,

It's already installed. That's what you're seeing. However, there appears to be a bug with it. What template version of JA Teline IV do you have? Make sure you're using the latest.

Kind regards,
Nick

Hi Joyce,

I looked at your site and can see your problem. I don't think we can help you with it. The front end editor that JA is developing is unique to them and their templates.

We don't have access to it and wouldn't know their template system as well as they do. Object Arguments are part of the Java Script they used, and are similar to an array in PHP. For some reason the argument objects are not listed or the script is failing to make a connection with them. The message is generated by their script.

JA is the best source for an answer for this problem since they wrote it. Sorry I can't be more help.

Cheers,
Ed
