Hi macdowells,

Ok, great. Upload your logo.png to templates/malita-tg/images/ to replace the default logo.

Then clear your browser's cache to see the change.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Kind regards,
Nick

Hi macdowells,

Media manager doesn't have access to your template's files. You could use your host's cPanel File Manager though:
www.macdowellsfireplace.com/cpanel

Let me know if you have any questions and I'll be glad to answer.

Kind regards,
Nick

Hi macdowells,

Did your question get answered?

Just FYI, here's an extension that will add a file manager to your Joomla installation if you're having trouble figuring out cPanel.

Cheers,
Ed

Ed:
I just do not understand the answer. I tried to add my image to the template files via the cPanel @ siteground but did not have success. Template did not change. FYI I did not see the extension you mentioned in your post.
Thanks

Hi Lynne,
Oops, I forgot to include the link to the extension. Sorry. Here it is.

extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-en...file-management/2630

But if you know how to use your cPanel file manager you don't need it. Using either one, here's what Nick meant when he said go to templates/malita-tg/images/

1. Go to your main Joomla Directory
2. Open the templates directory
3. Open the malita-tg directory
4. Open the images directory

look for a file called logo.png. delete it and replace it with your new logo.php.

It looks like you've already done that. If this is the correct logo,

macdowellsfireplace.com/templates/malita-tg/images/logo.png

you've already changed it. Or you can use this method to change this one to something else.

Does that help?

Cheers,
Ed

Ed:
That is not the correct logo...it is the one I am trying to get rid of.
I think I have attached the one I am trying to put in the site.
I have followed the directions ...exactly...but I am missing something.

I can't see any difference between that one and the one on the site. I've been staring at computer screens since early this morning.

Go to your Joomla Admin navigate to Site > Maintenance > Clear Cache and clear your cache and then check the site to see if that's the correct logo.

Have you uploaded this one to your site?

Can you send me a link to this photo like the link I sent you in my last message?
macdowellsfireplace.com/templates/malita-tg/images/logo.png

If you know how to upload it, it's just a matter of finding the place it goes. IF you can't see the correct logo, send me your cpanel login credentials so I can go in and see if I can find where it is.
