Hi there,

My website appears to be constantly loading. The little "wheel" in Firefox never stops spinning as though the site is loading. I have no idea why or what's going on.

Any ideas? Check: www.hykanodev.com/impro/

Hi Maizey,

It seems your website is redirecting to index.html instead of index.php first off.

Your website is running slow because of several reasons.

You have a lot of stuff in your header that needs to be cleaned up. Have you used YSlow plugin for Firefox?
addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/yslow/

You should uninstall any plugins/components/modules that aren't being used to help clean up your site.

Install performance tools such as:
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/site-ma...te-performance/11545

That will minify, compress, and clean up your site images/code.

If applicable it's good to put javascript scripts at the bottom instead of in your header, which could possibly help with the speed.

Other questions I have:

When did this start happening?

Did you make any recent changes where your site began to slow down?

What Joomla version are you using? Is it up to date?

Warm Regards,

Tessa Mero

Also, here is a screenshot of your website statistics:

You can cut the size of your load time by half by using .jpg instead of .png also. :-)
