Dear OSTraning.
I real need help now please.

I just uploaded my backup for my homepage, from my server to my hostserver
When I had to open the page, came this message

Fatal error: Class 'JRequest' not found in / home / virtual / kemnitz.dk / public_html / libraries / joomla / session / session.php on line 481

How do I get my page back. I do not know what to do, everything is gone

I am attaching a draft of the session.php file so you can see what it says.

I use Joomla 2,5,6

Hi Karina,

We dealt with that error for another student in this thread. There is a file there you can download. Take a look at this and see if it solves your problem.

Hi Karina,

I did some research, and seems the main reason for this error is files that are missing. This could have happened during the transfer.

Try using Akeeba Admin tools to reinstall joomla. That will replace missing files. Try that and let us know.

Thanks for your response and thanks for the link to Akeeba, I will try it out.

I'm pretty embarrassed that I had not uploaded the index.php so it did not since. I called my Host Provider and he discovered it for me.

But thanks for your effort to help me, it was very kind of you.

Have a nice day :-)
