Hello,
I have a website that I developed for a client >> www.nightofclassics.com , and under the vocalists section >> nightofclassics.com/features , the client wants each artist to have their own section , like a profile but with their own blog, music, videos, and photos. I'm not really sure how to go about doing this. Are there any extensions that would give me this capability? Would I need something like Jomsocial? Or can I accomplish this with a few basic extensions? Thanks in advance,
JG

Hi
A good starting point would be to have a look at the tutorials on access controls.
www.ostraining.com/courses/class/joomla-...ss-control?task=view
There is more that one way to skin a cat but an effective solution might be something like EasyBlog extensions.joomla.org/extensions/authori...OToiYmxvZ2dlcidzIjt9
I just think that this might be the easiest to set up and use but I am sure that others will also have ideas.
Regards
Mark

What about Community Builder? Would that work? With that extension would they be able to create their profile and add whatever they want?

Hi JG,

Yes, either Community Builder or Jomsocial would work too. As would some CCK editors would work too (e.g. SEBLOD):
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/authori...content-construction

or even Directory extensions (e.g. SobiPro):
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/directo...umentation/directory

Hope this helps!

Kind regards,
Nick
