I need some advice as a student here, because all my search has failed for now. I would like to now how to represent a lot of more content in one article?
or on one page? For example most of my sites include travel related products/items...
For instance either I need to show/represent an accommodation facility (Room, Apartment, accommodation unit), or a boat (motor yacht, sailing yacht or similar).
My clients usually want to present on one page all the technical details of that each indivdual unit without additional linking. By that for example I mean 2-3 separated galleries (interior, exterior, blueprints), maybe a video or panoramic view, technical details, pricelists, additional info and more...

Usually I have used K2 for similar, but then I am limited to a certain amount of tabs, 1 gallery, and escpecially the styling... whatever changes I make to the css later all of them look the same or pretty similar to my clients...
any idea or suggestion?
thanks in advance

You should look into using a CCK like Sobi Pro or Seblod.
These are way more powerful than K2 and will let you create fields for each type of content and custom displays and different templates.

It is a lot of work, but this is probably closer to what you want.

Cheers,
Ed

about tabs I dont know, I would need something the client can later edit easely, with tabs they would need to search trough joomla categories...
or the plugin code within the article

foe SEBLOD I here the first time and for SOBI I dint find any good example... do you guys have any links where I can see something similar in joomla build on that extensions?

Hi
As an example of tabs sliders etc have a look at how much info you can get on a page. demo.gavick.com/joomla16/jun2011/
It is a bit too much for my liking but I know you use K2 and it might give you some extra ideas.
Cheers

yes for the text content with a featured image is good... but I dont se where to fit 2 main separate galleries like exterior and interior on the main page, without hiding them... so the client potential customer can get to them any time without getting lost among slides and accordions :-(
