missing mainbody in joomla templates... 1 year 2 weeks ago #47656

I want to try to stack sidebars into one column, by positioning them both into sidebar-a postion, so i believe i need a template that has a mainbody, to be positioned direclty opposite them.
However they seem all to be missing that mainbody.
The gantry interface shows mainbody display on. ?tp=1 shows no mainbody.
How to enable the mainbody or how to find a template that has one? Or what am i missing here to find that position in the templates?
I am using the voxel template and a bunch of others downloaded from Rocket.

Hi Ed,

The mainbody position doesn't show on ?tp=1 If you want to see where it is, create an article and promote it to the front page. It will automatically fill the mainbody position. Be sure the number of columns for the mainbody are set in the Layouts section of the template manager.

Keep at it. It's working, you'll get the logic of it if you just keep experimenting.

Cheers,
Ed
