I have a friend who uses Drupal and says that Drupal builds menus automatically while Joomla makes you manually assign an article to a menu. He feels that Joomla must offer an automatic menu builder that puts articles in a menu. Any thoughts?

Hi Rachel,

It depends on what you mean by menu. If you want to create a list of articles there are modules which will display lists in various ways. Recent articles, featured articles, articles from a category.

There are many ways to do this. Do you have a specific example you want duplicated or can you tell us exactly what you are trying to accomplish?
