I was about to use the "MailChimp integration for Joomla!" recommended above but I see it only supports 1.5. the site I want it for is 2.5.

Can you provide some guidance as to how to integrate Mailchimp with Joomla?

What I'm after is to have a lightbox open with a Mailchimp signup form in it.

If I wanted to have the Mailchimp form code to appear in a lightbox when a "susbscribe" graphic is clicked, how would you recommend I accomplish this?

This may be easier than relying on a third party extension as Mailchimp allows great form customization.

(this is for both a 1.5 and 2.5 site)
