Hi Karina,

When you say "member", do you mean a registered user? Or a subscription paid membership?

Have you tried to go to:

Menu Manager > Home > Menu Item Type > Login Form ?

Do you see that option on the list?

With this menu type, you can set your home page to be a login form and also set a login and logout redirection page as well.
Warm Regards,

Knh15, when you set the menu item to your Homepage, the options will appear on the right of your Menu Manager > Home. :-)

Yes Tessa.

I have done that. When I try it out on my hunbond pc, I can use all my things whitout login. I need user to login before the can use my things.

What I need is a note there tell user to login/registrere before the can use my things.

Hope you understand Tessa.

Maby you will try to go to my site and so you can see what i mean please.

Hi Karina, you need to also set all your pages to be viewed by Registered users only.

Where exactly do you want this "note" to show up telling people to register before they can view your pages?

Or are you talking about a pop up login screen?

Is there a webpage similar to what you are wanting or could you take a screen capture and circle the section of your home page that you want this information at?

To learn how to take a screen capture, you could use the following tutorial:

I would like it displayed when a user example will use my Tutorials.

No not a pop up.

I have enabled login module. Then I tried to watch it on my husband's PC and from there I do not need to login to get to the other pages. And thats is what I want.
I want it so you have to log in on my side to use my stuff

Hi
After you have set up the login module you then have to change the ACL controls so that only "registered" users can view the content.
Have a look at these tutorials.
www.ostraining.com/courses/session/jooml...anding-joomla-users/
www.ostraining.com/courses/session/jooml...omla-access-control/
www.ostraining.com/courses/session/jooml.../joomla-user-groups/
www.ostraining.com/courses/session/jooml...your-own-acl-part-1/
www.ostraining.com/courses/session/jooml...your-own-acl-part-2/
Hope this helps. You can set up your site so that only registered users or groups of users can "see" certain pages.
Regards
Mark
