1. How can I do that?
2. And how can I link to this new article from one of my other articles?

You only need to create an article. It doesn't have to have a menu item unless you want it to have an alias.

2. And how can I link to this new article from one of my other articles?

You create a link to it like any other article link. I think you probably already know how to do that. If you don't I'll get you a detailed explantion, but I've seen lots of your posts and you seem to have a good handle on the basics.

3. And how can I go to this new article by a direct URL?
