TOPIC: JUser load error but no user with ID mentioned

JUser load error but no user with ID mentioned 11 months 4 weeks ago #70339

JUser: :_load: Unable to load user with ID: 62

I use Community Builder but there is no user with ID 62.

I would like to turn CB off for the moment but can't find it in the Extension Manager. It is not there. Would I do that in the CB component/ Plug in Tab? (Super Admin is the only one who needs to log in, for now.)

CB version 1.9.

This may have occurred during recent core update from 2.5.9 to 2.5.10.

The site in question

PHP 5.3.17
Linux hosted
Permissions checked
Repaired database. Two problem notifications I can't fix:
Database schema version (2.5.9) does not match CMS version (2.5.10).
Database update version (None) does not match CMS version (2.5.10).
Last Edit: 11 months 4 weeks ago by allfive. Reason: adding site URL

Hi allfive,

Where are you getting the error message? Are you getting it within CB?

To disable CB, look for "comprofiler" in Extensions >> Extension Manager >> Manage.

As to, the repair database, try the following steps:
1) Create and download a backup:
www.ostraining.com/blog/joomla/test-site-akeeba-backup/

2) Fix your folder and file permission using Admin Tools:
www.ostraining.com/blog/joomla/admin-too...nd-file-permissions/

3) Download the following package:
joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsrelease/18...e-Update_Package.zip

then install it from Extensions >> Extension Manager , as you would an extension.

4) Clear your browser's cache as well as your site cache.

Hope this helps!

Kind regards,
Nick

Only on these article pages as seen in the browser:
firemenandoilerschapter3.org/
firemenandoilerschapter3.org/news
firemenandoilerschapter3.org/afl-cio
To disable CB, look for "comprofiler" in Extensions >> Extension Manager >> Manage.

I disabled CB per your instructions and the issue still exists. Seems like it is not related to CB.

I checked the DB and found no user with ID 62. I had used Akeeba's AdminTools Pro to switch my Super User ID to a secure one. Maybe I should check with Akeeba?

Interestingly, I discovered the site has three db prefixes:

1. bak_w8rvj
2. xxxx (not the real prefix, x's just indicating the one I assigned upon installation)
3. w8rvj

This site was a full template install with vendor's sample content. Don't know if that would be part of the problem. The site has been live for a couple months, but without the ID error.
As to, the repair database, try the following steps:
snip
3) Download the following package:
joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsrelease/18...e-Update_Package.zip

I updated to 2.5.11 from within the admin area before reading your comment. Does the above link still apply?

Thanks.

Nick,

Please look for an additional email (same title with an RE:) that has the admin login URL.

Sorry. I forgot to include it in the original email.

JUser load error but no user with ID mentioned 11 months 3 weeks ago #70675

Solved!

I had to browse the values in the content database and found that the missing User-ID 62 is the user that wrote the template content articles. This was a SQL dump accompanying the template of the developer.

Even though ID 62 didn't appear as associated with any content, I went to the admin backend "Content" section and found several articles I had written that somehow had no author associated with them. After I corrected this (assigning me as the author), the error disappeared. (I also "archived" any content from the developer).

Why this would show up at this point, I don't know.

Glad I was able to sleuth it out.

Never would have had the courage without OST at my back. :-)
